XiangChu Finance Uploader is a private, single-user desktop application that publishes finished episodes of the Cantonese-language finance podcast 湘楚財經日報 (XiangChu Finance Daily) to the channel that owns it: youtube.com/@xiangchufinance.
The application uploads video files that the channel owner has already produced on the same computer — a Hong Kong market episode and a US market episode on each trading day — and then applies the video's title, description, tags and language, attaches a custom thumbnail, attaches a Chinese subtitle (caption) track, and adds the video to one of the channel's own playlists.
The application runs only on the owner's own Windows computer. It is not a web service, it has no sign-up and no other users, no third party can access it, and it publishes to no channel other than the owner's own.
This website is the public information page for that application and for the channel. It is a plain static page: it is not a login page, no account is needed to read it, and it sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
The application requests exactly two OAuth scopes from the channel owner's own Google Account, and it uses them only for the action described below.

Data handling, in one sentence: the application handles only the files the owner supplies, the OAuth token issued to it, and the upload status values returned for its own uploads (video ID, privacy status, processing status). It does not read other channels, does not use YouTube Analytics, does not read viewers' or commenters' data, does not sell or share data, does not use data for advertising or for credit decisions, and does not use data to train machine-learning models. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The application limits its use of Google user data to providing the single feature described on this page.
The application does not use Google APIs for AI-generated non-consensual intimate imagery (AI NCII) or for any similar content, and it produces no such content. It does not create deepfakes of real people and does not use Google user data for surveillance.
No Google user data is sold, rented or transferred to third parties, and no Google user data is used for advertising or ad targeting.
Videos published through the application carry YouTube's AI-content disclosure attribute, because the presenters are AI-generated avatars and voices; the description of each video states this openly. The channel's audience setting is “not made for kids”.
